We are a Network

DSCF3806Since we started the Renaissance Network in 2011, we have focused our efforts into forming a network of schools working together to reshape the future of Adventist education. Now three years later, we are in management agreements with three schools (soon to be four!), working with administrators and teachers to impact the lives of students and families around North America. This progress is all possible because of God and the hard working faculty and staff of the Renaissance Network.

On January 26-28, 2014, we hosted our second semiannual conference of Renaissance Network principals, business managers, school managers, and AAF staff in Scottsdale, Arizona. The agenda included items such as developing 2014-2015 School Enhancement Plans; Professional Learning Communities; a unified teacher evaluation system; financial software, audits, policies and procedures; and achieving buy-in from the community. In addition, the principals presented exciting projects and incentives that they are implementing on each of their campuses. It was great to see our mission of creating a network of schools transforming the landscape of Adventist education becoming a reality.

DSCF3857One of the most exciting parts for us was see everyone passion for bettering their school and to see Adventist education thrive. One way we saw this was their clear enthusiasm among the participates for collaboration between the schools. They are excited to be apart of a network where teachers can work with teachers from other schools to develop best practices and learn new strategies.

As we plan for the 2014-2015 school year, we are energized by the response and ideas from all those who participated in our semiannual conference. We look forward to what this new year brings and seeing more collaboration among the schools.

But the most exciting part is that we can truly say we are a Network.
